-John List who on November 9, 1971, killed his wife, mother, and three children in their home in Westfield, New Jersey, and then disappeared.
After the murders, List assumed a false identity and remarried. In 1989, he was apprehended after someone had recognized him off America’s Most Wanted. He was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. In 2008, he died of pneumonia.
